conor and i arrived in amsterdam after flying non-stop from san francisco - 12 hours in the air. needless to say we were a bit tired and mildly delirious by the time we landed.

our stay in amsterdam was brief - one afternoon. we arranged to met up with ian and dan (my friends from MIT), which we accomplished without a hitch. after a beer, we all headed over to the anne frank museum/house, then walked around amsterdam for a short time. due to our tiredness, we decided to hit the road early and get ourselves to antwerp, where wedding-fun awaited us all. our train left around 5pm, and our motley crew spent the 2 hour ride playing a wild game of travel scrabble (which was interrupted every time dan 'sensed' the train was slowing down and wanted to pack up).
