ok now i'm mad. at some point in the last few hours... the food network CHANGED THE DEADLINE!
to august 1st!

all the lost sleep... the mad dash to help doug learn to use his DVD burner... the graciousness of my cousins... the less than perfect submission because i was pressed for time... them even telling doug in person when he "delivered the goods" that today was the day!
... and they changed the deadline!?!

Look on the bright side. . .a week early is better than a day late! And, there's nothing like panic mode to stimulate the brain to higher levels of creative productivity. The creative side of the brain tells the controlling side to go take a hike while you do what you gotta do. The results can be awesome.
you know, i totally noticed that changed deadline! but i thought maybe i was just looking at an old page because i was looking at last year's winners. that's so weird! perhaps that means there weren't enough submissions, so maybe you have a better chance??
