unread emails

after 3 days off from work, there are:

238 unread emails in my inbox
534 unread emails in my junk mailbox

i'm not sure what that says about the world except thank goodness for spam filters. i sure as hell wouldn't want to sort through 772 emails just to get the measely 238 good ones out.
