hurricane charley (cat 4) seemed to squeeeeeeze right through that tiny little gap of land between tampa/clearwater (where my parents live) and naples (where my grandma, cousins and various relatives live) -- and therefore caused minimal to zero damage to both of my "homes"!

yay!

lets just hope it doesn't cut a hard left and turn west in the next hour, or else tampa may get trounced after all.
