that's what i'm talkin' bout, willis!

oh yeah lance was the mack DADDY today! finally, the tour has really begun! as he was climbing the final ascent in stage 12 (la mongie), he just peeled away from tyler and ullrich like they were amateurs! booYAH to the man-who'll-soon-be-in-yellow-for-good. he wiggled his way up to second overall, and he got second in the stage (the glory went to ivan basso who apparently has never won a stage, so that's pretty cool).
 
the cutie-patootie youngster, thomas voekler, fought the good fight to keep the yellow for yet another day -- which meant that there was a lot of nice footage of his sweaty little yellow body climbing up the mtns -- and some fabulous camera angles that framed his deliciously muscular yellow rump right in the middle of my TV. oh what a great way to wake up and start my day! is it weird that i love men in spandex with shaved legs and scrawny arms?
 
no. not when they could KICK YOUR ASS on a bike.
and mine, for that matter.
 
but big question of the day is this: what in the hell does the presidential election have to do with lance's victory?! and who does bush think he is trying to link them together? does he think he's going to win votes over by making asanine statements like this? 
 
"He's going to win, and I'm going to win. There's no need to worry about either race anymore."
